Engineers Day was celebrated at HIET on 15th
September 2012 at MGR Hall. Mr.N.Rangamani, Deputy General Manager
(Engineering), Air India was the chief guest and delivered the keynote address
on the topic ‘The role and prospects of Aircraft Maintenance engineer’s in the
Aviation Industry’. Mr.Ramkumar Iyyer , Chief Manager , Air India (Alumni of
HIET- Aircraft Maintenance Engg) and Mr.Kalaichelvan, Chief Manager, Air India
also addressed the gathering. The students and staff of Aircraft Maintenance
Engineering Department attended the function and had a fruitful interaction
with the speakers on various aspects of Aviation Industry.
